This running game tracks you as you run through your own neighborhood. There's a narrative about a zombie apocalypse and you are a "runner" for the remaining pod of civilization. This means you run out of the safety of the fences on errands to bring back supplies. The app will play your own music most of the time - but beware when your zombie detection meter goes off, the beeping will start and you'll hear the zombie groans getting closer and closer. You actually have to run faster to evade them. The interval running is really a workout and it's a nice change to do something different during a run.

2. Trader Joe's - Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper Soup
I went to Trader Joe's over the Veterans Day break with a friend. We're lucky enough to have one down in Sarasota. I got lots of fun products to try as well as procuring a DELICIOUS turkey for Friendsgiving. I grabbed this container of soup to use on a busy night when something quick was needed. It's also extremely tasty. I mixed in a little goat cheese to help make it a little creamier. It was absolutely delicious.
3. Goody Fabric Headbands
When we run, I always cover my ears to keep them warm. Even when it's warm outside they can still get chilled and give me a horrible headache for the rest of the evening. These headbands stay over my ears and help hold my earbuds in. (Not only are my ears susceptible to the cold, they're way to small for most earbuds.) I sometimes layer two of them on to be sure all of my ear is covered.
4. Vivid by Liz Claiborne
This perfume isn't actually made anymore. We discovered it at a perfume store in Gatlinburg back in 2010. Matt made a custom perfume for me once at a mall kiosk in Memphis and named it "Ashley". It's always been one of my favorite smells, but I didn't wear it often in order not to run out. When Matt smelled Vivid he immediately said, "This smells like Ashley" - and it did! So we bought a bottle that was there on clearance. We went back to that store on our trip to Gatlinburg this Christmas and while the actual "Vivid" perfume was not available, the store has their own mixes which they can use to create perfumes, lotions, bath gels and more. We bought another bottle of the Vivid mix and I am so happy to be able to use it again.
5. Cuddleduds from Kohls
Matt's mom gave me these PJs for Christmas. She knew we were going up to Gatlinburg for the weekend and she also knew that since we live in Florida - we don't own a lot of long johns. These PJs are incredibly soft and comfortable. I have even worn them around in Florida. Especially the pj pants. The cotton is just the kinda fabric that relaxes me as soon as I put it on.
6. PhotoFunia
This photo app gave us the most fun over the Christmas break. We would create funny photos of one another, message them around and then just laugh. It's a free app that lets you create gems such as this:
The creative options are endless.
7. My nephew gave me the album "Tommy" by The Who for my Christmas present. My record player has never sounded so awesome.
9. My parents gave me a calligraphy set for Christmas. I've been doing a lot of hand lettering by pencil lately and had wondered how it would carry over to calligraphy. I've got ink on my fingers and lots of pages with "Mr. and Mrs. Crockett" written on it to varying degrees of sucess, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I'm definitely going to check out some online tutorials. I'm sure I can get some links or zillion on Pinterest.
10. Finally, this makes me laugh so hard:
