CHRISTMAS EVE
After dinner with the Crockett's we went out to my dad's parents house on Colbert Heights. All of the family was there. We had tasty eats and lots of presents.
MawMaw's Tree
Luke (cousin) with the Sugar Bowl shirt we gave him.
This was their 55 wedding anniversary! They eloped on Christmas Eve.
Brad and Katie Willingham. (cousin and wife)
Pawpaw made his boys cowboys for Christmas. He carves all of this and paints it by hand. They even have guns in their holsters.
LtoR - Uncle Keith, Uncle Dennis and Daddy
Andrea tries to throw her new hat in the air like Mary Tyler Moore.
Uncle Dennis shows her how it's really done.
David, Luke and Jacob (all cousins) drink from holiday goblets.
AFTER we leave my grandparents, we headed home and opened our Christmas PJs. A tradition my parents do. Andrea and I got Bama alumni shirts and sleep pants and Matt got AU pants.

Matt enjoys the Bama girls.
CHRISTMAS DAY -
After presents and breakfast with the Crockett's (I'll post pictures from that later), we head over to my Mother's parents house for lunch and fun.
Matt is playing my Grandpa's guitar.
Grandma and Grandpa open their presents.
Instead of presents between all the grandkids this year, we decided to do a fun project. This year was painting canvases.
Above, Andrea and Elizabeth (cousin) work on their masterpieces. Elizabeth did a cool "Peace on Earth" thing that had us all singing the version of the Little Drummer Boy by Bing Crosby and David Bowie.
Matt helps me map out my painting of an apple. It turned out very nicely.
Andrea and Jordan showcase their combined art piece. A thing of beauty is a joy forever...and THIS is certainly a joy forever. They painted over what they had made at least 3 times and came up with this.
AFTER Christmas lunch at my grandparents and enough painting we headed home to finally open presents from Santa.
That night after the presents were opened we sat down and ate some delicious gumbo and jambalaya. It was a GREAT Christmas.
WE had a WONDERFUL Christmas this year. Not that every year isn't wonderful, but it was so nice to be home and relaxing with all of our families. We are so blessed to be able to share the holidays with so many people.
